Your new school
The second half of the term is fast approaching, and Hays Education are working closely with a secondary school based in Alcester near Stratford, who are seeking a cluster of Teaching Assistants for day-to-day cover and long-term positions.
Working on a supply basis through Hays is a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants to further their experience working in a variety of Mainstream and SEN secondary schools and to work with children with a range of SEN.
Your new role
Hays Education are looking for dedicated, hardworking Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in young people's lives. Pupils may have a range of SEN including Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will be required to support children with additional needs on a 1.1 basis or in a group setting and work closely with the class teachers, assisting with lessons and activities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a resilient but compassionate character who is able to empathise with students and ensure that they reach their full educational potential. Previous experience supporting children with a range of SEN is essential for this role. Hays Education welcome all candidates with previous experience whether you be qualified or unqualified.
