Solihull Parkway, Birmingham with regular travel to other offices in Worcestershire, Birmingham and Coventry

Salary: GBP25,158 - GBP29,624, with the opportunity to progress to the next salary banding of GBP32,459 - 36,938 if the required qualification and experience is met.



Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week

Work pattern: Monday - Friday



At a time of considerable transformational change, they are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join the Human Resources Team.

The role is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive human resource service to managers and employees at a variety of locations within the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of:

  • Supporting all stages of the recruitment and selection process from advert to preparation of contract of employment and payroll administration

  • Assisting with the maintenance of the automated HR system ensuring new starters, leavers and changes are processed correctly

  • Monitoring sickness absence levels across the business area and ensure absence procedures are followed

  • Supporting the disciplinary, grievance and capability processes including advice to managers and attendance at meetings

  • Assisting HRBPs in the development of modern HR Policies and Procedures in line with employment related legislation

  • Assisting HRBPs to benchmark new and existing posts using Citizen's job evaluation scheme

  • Coaching and supporting managers

You will be expected to deliver solution focused approaches in an innovative way in line with the Organisational Development strategy.

You will be qualified to Associate CIPD and have Human Resources experience within a similar position. You will be accustomed to working autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a high level of computer literacy and attention to detail.

You will also enjoy participating in team activities to improve the overall service and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers.
