Summary of Role:

To lead the marketing function for the company and ensure the delivery of effective marketing strategies in line with business objectives, providing a marketing function that supports the Business in achieving its goals; increasing sales and awareness of the brand and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Providing direction and guidance to the Executive Team on all aspects of Marketing

Develop and manage the execution of a strategic marketing plan

Proactively develop campaigns to support the business objectives and GTM strategy

Project management of all marketing campaigns

Development and delivery of internal and external marketing communications

Leading the development and marketing of the company brand

Own the company website and social media presence to ensure they are developed and maintained in line with the marketing strategy

Management of the Marketing and PR annual budget

Provide marketing and PR support to tenders

Management of the Marketing Assistant and external providers

Activities/Tasks

* Generating appropriate Marketing and PR material in line with our brand and GTM activity

* Develop an internal marketing strategy to support lead generation and wider knowledge of the business and group

* Provide quality market sector analysis in support of company growth plans

* Ensuring consistency in all aspects of our marketing message

* To lead the development of the company brand and branding position.

* Creation and delivery of press releases to the marketplace

* To support the development of client relationships through customer feedback satisfaction processes and client reference programme

* To take ownership of the company Website and its development and day to day maintenance

* Controlling the marketing and PR budget and activities.

* Liaison and co-operation with marketing teams throughout the group

* Ensuring that all marketing material is current, relevant and supports the sales effort, whether targeted or in general

* Design, development and co-ordination of effective exhibitions and events.

Essential Requirements:

* Demonstrable experience in a marketing management role

* Demonstrable successful experience working in a B2B marketing role.

* Strong communicator with good presentation skills.

* Good organisational and analytical skills.

* Flair for creative/marketing writing.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

* Ability to represent the business in a professional manner.

Desirable Requirements:

* Automation and/or IT/Digital industry experience

* Strong IT skills to support web design and maintenance and social media presence.

* Good understanding of how to leverage the benefits of digital routes to market

* Track record of impact on sales growth

Personal Qualities:

* Degree qualified or equivalent

* Professional marketing qualification-CIM.

* Full driving license.

* Flexible approach to working hours.

* Willingness to travel and reside overnight where required
