Our client, a leading homewares design and importation company based in Birmingham, is looking for an experienced Account/Administrative Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

* Reception First line receptionist for telephone.

* Credit Control Chase customers for payment and reconcile queries.

* Sales Ledger Duties Raise internal orders after receipt of customers' orders - ORF's Receive EDI orders and translate into internal orders - ORF's Maintain sales delivery note register Check and reconcile debit notes received from customers Raise credit notes after liaison with Senior Sales Administrator Post and allocate sales ledger cash onto Opera.

* Purchase Ledger Duties Receive and enter all purchase invoices onto purchase invoice register Maintain purchase invoice register Check extensions and attach appropriate delivery notes Post invoices to purchase ledger on Opera Reconcile purchase ledger statements Post and allocate purchase ledger cash onto Opera.

* Customer service Assist consumers with issues relating to products purchased Record queries on consumer service database.

Additional Duties Undertake additional duties as required by the Office Manager.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 8:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday, and our client is offering a salary of GBP22,000 - GBP24,000 plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays.
