**Previous applicants need not apply** Qualified Nurse Practitioner - Behaviour Support Team Band 5 RNLD This is a permanent position Hours of work are usually - Monday - Friday, 9am- 5pm (Some flexibility maybe required to meet the needs of the service) Behaviour Support Team Orchard Hills House, Fallowfield Road, Walsall WS5 3DY We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and approachable qualified Learning Disability nurse to work within the Behaviour Support Team for adults with Learning Disabilities. The Behaviour Support Team work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a high quality and specialist services to individuals with Learning disabilities and complex, challenging needs. Due to the nature of the role and service requirements, you will have previous experience of working with people with a Learning Disability who present with complex and challenging needs. This role involves completion of a range of tasks (but not limited to) specialist Behaviour assessments, analysis of findings, formulation and the development and implementation of individualised ethical interventions following the service Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) pathway. You will be expected to develop positive relationships with individuals referred to the service, their families, colleagues, professionals and others who may be involved in supporting the person. You will be involved in the delivery of training, mentoring of students and supporting other learners. There will be opportunities to actively contribute to service developments, future planning and improvement within the Learning Disability services. You will work in a range of settings, which can include people's homes, specialist schools, provider and occasional inpatient services. You will be required to have a valid driving license and access to and use of a car. You will be welcomed into an established, motivated, forward thinking team .You will receive regular clinical and management supervision from an experienced Behaviour Therapist or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist this will enable you to work autonomously and hold an allocated case load.
