Are you passionate about education and working with children?
We are offering successful applicants a route into teaching through our HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) training programme.
On completion of the training we will work on your behalf to find employment for you in an HLTA role within a school in your area. The cost of the training will depend on your application and will be confirmed within the recruitment process.
The HLTA training programme is designed to provide the necessary skills and knowledge required to perform within a paid HLTA role.
No prior teaching experience is necessary to apply as all training is provided within our programme, delivered to you online with the guidance of an expert tutor.
It consists of 3 accredited teaching courses:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Diploma - Includes modules on equality and diversity, curriculum planning and communication
- Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Award Level 3 RQF - Young people's development, professional relationships within an education setting
- Education and Training Award Level 3 RQF - teaching and learning approaches, planning and motivation
The programme is completed in your free time, from home. Allowing you the flexibility to fit your training around your busy family and work life.
As the education industry faces increasing budget constraints, we are seeing an increasing demand for HLTAs to support the workload of the classroom teacher. HLTAs perform the same duties as teaching assistants, but have an increased level of responsibility (providing cover for teachers in times of absence for example). The average salary of an HLTA is around GBP23k per year.
