Medical Administrator - Birmingham
Becoming A Medical Administrator in Birmingham with Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP):
As a Medical Administrator, you will undertake professional clerical and administrative support duties regarding medical screening of RAF and Royal Navy applicants.
You will play a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of the process of recruiting appropriate talent to join the Armed Forces. This is a full-time role paying GBP18,000 p.a.
What you will do:
Liaising with applicants, answering queries and assisting candidates through the medical aspects of the application process where required
Escalating issues or seeking guidance on specific cases from Team Leaders or medical contacts (Medical Experts, Chief Medical Officer etc)
Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
Interacting with third party providers where appropriate (e.g. candidate GPs) as part of medical process fulfilment
Filing and retrieving information and documents, data entry, typing letters and looking after visitors
Answering the phone and responding to queries (from both internal and external customers)
Your experience will include:
- Experience in Administration
- A good level of English spelling and grammar
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office
- Familiarity with the Army from a personal or family-link perspective desirable
- Experience in the healthcare arena desirable
