Hays are pleased to be working in partnership with a growing manufacturing brand operating in the Birmingham City area! Due to huge success on their end, they're now looking for another Accounts Assistant to join their luxury Birmingham-based offices on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As the newest Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the processing of receipts, banking cash and cheques received, resolving supplier queries & processing invoices, as well as assisting with payment runs, & the production of client statements & reports. In addition, you will be responsible for general ledger activities, assisting with year-end, as well as many other ad-hoc duties.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally someone who has a background within manufacturing, however if you're someone with experience in a varied accounts position and looking for a new challenge to develop yourself further, then this one would fit quite well too. Someone who has exposure with Sage 50/Sage 200 accounts would be preferable but is not essential for the role.
