The role represents a fantastic opportunity for a highly creative and innovative data analyst / scientist to provide astute behavioural based insights that will improve product performance and enhance customer experience.

Your background is likely to be from a retail centric or consumer based analytical environment, comfortable utilising industry leading tools to interrogate and model mass-data sets. Moreover, you'll have the capacity to present data visually - outlying key trends and recommending appropriate actions. Above all, you'll enjoy collaborating cross-functionally - attending product workshops, team thinktanks and supplier meetings to ensure business case objectives are clearly defined.


* Develop and constantly evolve analytical capability based on analysis & hypotheses, derived from collaboration with development and commercial teams to support different product launches / business cases

* Review and quantify the effect of ongoing changes to product ranges through data analysis

* Shape and steer the development roadmap with recommendations supported by data

* Present and clearly communicate key analytical insights through internal reports, presentations and dashboards, utilising industry leading visualisation tools

* Understand upcoming product features, ensure business intelligence tools support data collection and analytics needs

* Direct the data capture requirements, having ownership of strategic insights to understand the impact of design / product decisions

* Deliver Ad Hoc analyses as / when required

* Ensure skills are kept updates in line with best in class practices, techniques and tools and industry trends to foster product improvement



Commercial experience delivering cutting-edge and meaningful insight via analysis


Demonstrable experience with SQL (syntax creation, querying etc.)


Working knowledge of business of business intelligence tools and techniques that support the identification of trends, propensities and reoccurring trends


Knowledge of programming for analytical purposes, ideally from one of the following; Python, R, VBA, MATLAB


Excellent attention to detail, natural curiosity and able to problem solve creatively


Positive mind and self-starter attitude with the confidence to challenge existing processes whilst driving improvements to product


Strong communication skills, capable presenting and delivering work to a wider cross-discipline audience in an easy to understand manner


Degree educated in a related subject; computer science, statistics, mathematics, or economics or equivalent experience


Exceptional team player, demonstrating the skills to o partner with and influence creative and technical teams
