About the Company:

Pentalver Transport is an award-winning container logistics company with over 30 years' experience.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Maintenance & Repair Welder Fabricator to join our team at the Cannock Depot.

Welder Fabricator Responsibilities:

Repairing the containers, including steam cleaning reefer containers, removal of hanging beams and removal of gensets.
Carry out fabrication work in accordance with the M&R/Fabrication method statements
Checking containers coming into the depot for damage
Carrying out estimates and communicating with the administrator including supplying good quality photos.
Removal of HAZ labels, carry out CSC plating and proactively inspecting containers for any further damage requiring repairs.
Ability to communicate effectively with the Terminal Supervisor / Manager, understanding requirements and communicate accurate information on time as required
Working with a team effectively communicating requirements
Maintain high standards of good housekeeping
Maintain health and safety standards

Welder Fabricator Requirements:

Oxy fuel cutting experience
Welder qualifications BS EN 287, BE EN 9606 part 1
Ability to work well within a team, but also with minimum supervision
Good housekeeping
Competent in HSSE Regulations, requirements and ability to dynamically risk assess environments
