Part Time Accounts Assistant - hours per week Accounts Receivable Raising invoices, credit control, answering invoice queries, sending statements, reconciling Direct Debits in Accounts Package. Managing Aged Debtors, checking for accuracy and submitting direct debits Ensure accuracy of invoice by using various systems to gather data, allocate customer receipts. Accounts Payable Add Invoices to Sage One online system, check invoices for accuracy, ensure goods have been received, are fit for purpose, pass invoices for payment, maintain Purchase Order database Track deliveries, inform customers and manage returns process. Order and obtain quotes for hardware, software, licenses and services, dealing with suppliers. Answer any supplier invoice or payment queries. Office Administration Deal with incoming customer enquiries, act as an overflow for incoming calls to the helpdesk team. Be first point of contact for incoming telephone account and sales enquiries. Email periodic system reports to customers. Order office supplies, arrange courier collections and deliveries, arrange travel for staff where required. Provide refreshments to guests upon arrival at office, upon request from management Provide support to Directors. Any other administrative duties as required. The ideal Accounts Assistant Worked in an accounts environment, calm, high attention to detail, 'can-do' attitude, positive, down-to-earth, flexible in approach, sense of urgency, can work without supervision. Ideally some that has worked in a computer environment, such as an IT support company or software house but not essential. Computer Skills Excel (able to understand basic excel functions) Word, Office 365, Email. Used Sage or similar cloud accounts package. Working Hours 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday 30 minute lunch break (this can be flexible) Salary Dependent upon experience
