Customer Insights Data Analyst

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Salary: £25K per annum + DOE

Responsibilities of the Customer Insights Data Analyst:
  • Undertake analysis and manipulation of client data/databases using advanced analytical techniques and application
  • As a data analyst, you must have a team player mentality and the ability to create strong working relationships with colleagues and client
  • Assist in building and maintaining database of S2's core datasets for analysis that meets business requirements.
  • Analyse, segment, recommend and provide data for customer insight programmes to ensure an accurate and relevant sample is available for each initiative.
  • Conduct analysis of customer research data, creating reports and PowerPoint content on results.
  • Build, maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders and clients to ensure the delivery of analysis and transfer of data is on time and to quality, and meets regulatory and data governance standards.

Requirements of the Customer Insights Data Analyst:

Essential Skills Required:
  • Strong analytical and high level numeracy skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar data analysis role.
  • Advanced Excel and other MS Office skills.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Working knowledge of MS Access, Office VBA and SQL server.
  • Knowledge of geographical mapping systems with a statistical analysis & modelling background an advantage.
  • Experience of using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools eg Tableau, QlikView, or GIS mapping tools.
  • Knowledge of consumer industry classification systems (e.g. Census, Acorn, Mosaic, Personicx etc) & data segmentation techniques.
  • A pragmatic analyst with experience of working on multiple projects which you can talk through at interview stage.
  • Experience of developing customer segmentation and propensity modelling
