Relief Recovery Support Worker
Creative Support is a non-profit provider of person centred care and support to older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism spectrum conditions. We are recruiting Relief Support Workers for our Mental Health Services in the Smallthorne and Burslem areas in Stoke on Trent.
We are recruiting motivated, warm individuals for the role of Relief Support Workers to provide person-centred care and support to people with mental health needs at our Nursing and Residential homes services in Stoke.
Your role will include:
- Providing ad-hoc cover on the rotas to cover instances such as sickness, annual leave, training and vacancies.
- Working with service users in a recovery-focused way in line with their support and risk management plans with a person centred approach, assisting someone to make their breakfast in the morning, go swimming or to a local cafe in the afternoon - or even helping them plan their holidays. Sometimes it is challenging, but it is always rewarding. You will go to work knowing that you are making a positive difference to someone's life. You will be working in a team of skilled, dedicated colleagues who will support you all the way.
The shift pattern includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
