This part-time role within a small Accountancy Practice in Ledbury will assist with the client book-keeping function using Sage Software including the preparation of VAT Returns and the preparation of client payrolls using IRIS Payroll Bureau Software.

You may also be required to assist with the preparation of Bank Reconciliations and Accounting analysis to support the Accounts Production function.

You will also carry out duties associated with the Automatic Enrolment Workplace Pensions Scheme including monthly uploads to Pension Providers. Other duties may include assisting in advising clients on the choice of Accounting Software and providing training, where required.

You may be required to use IRIS Practice Accounting Software and other computerised accounting software packages and should, therefore, possess comprehensive IT skills. Other duties include ensuring that all office and accounting procedures are followed and dealing with client queries over the telephone or face to face.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Bookkeeping and Payroll position and working knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
