Human Resources Officer

Grade 9 (£26,999 per annum)

Full time, 37 hours per week

1 Year fixed term in the first instance leading to permanent following a successful probation period

The Marches Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and driven HR professional to join their shared services team in a fast paced environment. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will provide generalist HR support across the Trust schools working closely with Headteachers, Trust professionals and external agencies. The post holder will possess a cheerful and positive disposition whilst being proactive, resilient and build effective working relationships.

Applications are sought from candidates who: Hold at least 2 years’ experience of working in HR; Excellent attention to detail; Possess CIPD Level 3 Diploma in HR Practice or equivalent; Have all round knowledge of employment law and best practice in providing good quality advice to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills There will be an opportunity for those interested in applying, to visit one of our trust schools (Marches School, Oswestry) by appointment only.
