Sims Data Manager
Your new company
A high profile Secondary School based in South Birmingham is looking for a school SIMS Data Manager to carry out temporary cover whilst they recruit to the permanent role in the autumn role. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 9am - 15:30 pm.
Your new role
The role will be responsible for the maintenance of the schools management information system (SIMS) and managing staff training with regards to this. You will also be responsible for the effective administration of collection, collation processing, distribution and analysis of data. The role will also provide support and training for the attendance officer with respect to the production of reports and analysis of attendance data as required by the senior leadership team. The role will also manage and ensure the timely return of statistical information as required by the local authority, DFE and other governmental authority. This includes destination Measures, Student and Workforce Census, leavers data to new institutions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a high level of data analysis with SIMS experience. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years. You will also need to have an up to date DBS check, the school can't accept any applicants without this.
