ABC Teachers are recruiting for a part time Year 1 teacher for a job share role, in the Rednal area of south Birmingham. The role will be a temporary 0.6 contract which will be starting as soon as the right candidate is appointed and will continue on a temporary basis until February 2020.

The successful candidate must be a friendly and approachable teacher with a positive work ethic. You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, and you will understand the importance of learning life skills from an early age.

The school is a rapidly improving primary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a team that works well together to maintain a supportive and fun environment. The school has a strong focus on providing all pupils access to a creative curriculum and encourages all pupils to become confident individuals.


To be considered for the position of KS1 Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have a positive work ethic and attitude
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview.
