Customer Service and Customer Record Product Manager

As part of a hugely ambitious global change programme you will lead a team responsible for the successful implementation of new strategy, software systems and processes to improve the experience for our customers. By working with other business functions, you will ensure ALDI remains relevant in the digital age. Your focus will be on customer facing technology, directly enhancing Customer Experience and ensuring the continuous improvement and strategic development of your product area.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the IT and Commercial sides of the organisation, ensuring a succinct and collaborative approach to using technology to develop process improvements and customer propositions.

We are looking for a strong, forward-thinking Product Manager with experience of Agile project and product management as well as previous implementation of technology and business process improvements. This is a mid-senior role delivering improvements on behalf of the whole ALDI South Group and you need to be comfortable discussing complex technical topics with business stakeholders and senior management. You will be in a much broader role than just managing user stories, participating in design thinking workshops, setting strategy and working with the global business teams.

Responsibilities will include:
• Leading, coaching and developing a cross-cultural and international team of colleagues to drive change and innovation
• Working strategically with the wider organisation to plan not only the future development but also the deployment of solutions including business acceptance, continuous improvements and change management
• Working on a range of cutting-edge new solutions including artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, chatbot's and more
• Driving business engagement
• Managing a global community of stakeholders, third party teams and partners
• Instigating change, ensuring key objectives and complex implementations are successfully landed and rolled out globally

Minimum requirements:
• Qualified to degree level (minimum 2.1 or equivalent)
• Experienced Product Manager, with experience in a Product Owner/Manager role working within Customer Service, Insights and Customer Data Management
• Management experience, with excellent leadership skills
• Excellent understanding of the Agile software engineering life-cycle for development including SCRUM
• Experience of managing cross-functional and international teams and projects, overseeing the planning, development and design of products
• Proven ability to engage with international stakeholders and senior business leaders
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to adapt and use language to work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues on a National and International level
• Experience of managing System Integrators and external vendors
• Experience in reducing time to market through development flow analysis and optimisation as well as UX/UI, frontend design and usability
• Proficiency in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, JIRA and Confluence
