Teaching Assistant for Children with SEN (PMLD, SLD, ASD, MLD)

Duties and Responsibilities

To support primary and/or secondary aged pupils with IEP's for SEND

To prepare for exciting lessons that motivate and inspire pupils with a statement for special educational needs.

To provide a caring and nurturing approach to vulnerable pupils.

To collaborate with colleagues to share good practice.

To follow and meet all the relevant Teaching Assistant Standards

To have a good and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

To have a good and thorough knowledge of the P-Levels

Experience and Education Requirements

All Levels of Teaching Assistant are acceptable, but experience is more important
