Project Coordinator - Assistive Technology

37.5 hours per week

£25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Based Beacon Centre Sedgley, however travel throughout the West Midlands is required

The successful candidate for this new role will manage the West Midlands Technology project, funded by Thomas Pocklington Trust. This project aims to map the existing provision of Assistive Technology across West Midlands Sight Loss organisations, and scope delivery of shared services across partner organisations.

In addition, this role will support the application of Assistive Technology projects and programmes at Beacon.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • High levels of technological experience, ideally in an assistive context
  • Excellent people engagement skills
  • Experience of developing strategies and implementation plans
  • Ability to work across diverse organisations and build co-operation

Some experience of the sight loss or disability sector and the role of technology within it, is desirable.
