Mathematics teacher - North Birmingham - January 2020

Academics is currently seeking for enthusiastic and passionate teacher to assist in the teaching of KS3 - 5 Mathematics in a faith school based in North Birmingham.

The school in question has a fantastic reputation with an outstanding grade ofsted report. It is recognised for its consistently strong teaching and its ability to repeatedly inspire its students to achieve their very best.

The ideal candidate will be someone who would be as equally motivated as the current teaching team to ensure that all of its students receive the same level of commitment and success as they currently do.

The Ideal Candidate must be able to demonstrate/possess:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),
  • An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (with overseas police checks where applicable),
  • A complete employment/education history, spanning at least 10 years,
  • Able to teach up to a key stage four standard,
  • Be eligible to work within the UK.

The candidate will also show:

  • Broad experience at teaching to a Key stage 4 standard (though NQTs will also be considered),
  • Strong and consistent management behaviour skills,
  • A knowledge of the national curriculum,
  • A passion for development, with the ability to motivate students across key ranges and key stages.
