This world leader in the manufacture, production and design of luxury vehicles now has an exciting position for a talented Project specialist to join its highly skilled purchasing team.

Based from its Gaydon site the Analyst will be required to support the clients Brexit readiness and purchasing teams. This will be a high-profile role which require stakeholder engagement at many levels within the client's internal departments and external supply base.

Main responsibility will be to lead projects and initiatives across all the key functions of the business including Global Purchasing, IT, Finance, Corporate Strategy, MBO, PR, OGC and various other departments. As well as other duties the main role will be to support the Global Purchasing team to deliver changes associated with the IK leaving the EU / Brexit negotiations.

The Purchasing Analyst must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Brexit Readiness, Delivery of a Brexit communication plan whilst meeting deliverables as set by Brexit steering teams.

This is a strategic role whilst preparing the client to shape its business in order to leave the EU with role providing a key interface regularly between functional departments. The analyst will be expected to demonstrate a large amount of supplier communications in ready for the exit by means of events, workshops, and face to face meetings in order to establish supplier readiness against all Brexit outcomes whilst being involved in the coordination of the Brexit Terms and conditions steering committee.

The Analyst will have proven experience (3-5 years) of automotive supply chain purchasing, A strong Brexit understanding or background, an ability to deliver projects in a highly demanding environment, extensive experience in stakeholder management and relationship management along with strong management skills.

Ideally the Senior analyst will have an APM or logistics qualification, a track record of delivering large projects and be ideally educated within the global purchasing arena: finance, Government affairs, MBOetc.
