Academics are currently looking for a Teacher with SEN training for a school based in North Birmingham for immediate start.

The school has an impressive record, achieving a rating of Good by Ofsted in its most recent assessment and is very proud of its strong team of staff and its ability to provide a happy teaching environment for its students. Such effort has resulted in an impressive academic results and great teaching record.

The ideal candidate will show a similar passion and a caring personality as the role will require the them to work with students with various special teaching needs and impairments such as social and developmental and a sensitivity to such is necessary for the candidate to be successful.

The candidate is also required:

To have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),
An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (with overseas police checks where applicable),
A complete employment/education history, spanning at least 10 years, including required training for an SEN environment.
Be able to teach students in KS1&2 curriculum work.
Be eligible to work within the UK. It would also be beneficial, but not essential if:

Strong and consistent management behaviour skills,
A knowledge of the national curriculum,
A passion for development, with the ability to motivate students across key ranges and key stages.
