  • Leading Operational Excellence strategy and programs demonstrate how you will adapt to operational changes within the company and display excellent commercial business awareness
  • Lead the operational excellence strategy and programs. Continuously and sustainably improve all manufacturing activities with emphasis on sustainable HSE performance, customer satisfaction, cost of operations, resource efficiency, asset utilisation, supply chain efficiency and human capital management
  • Accountable for designing and providing world-class work management processes, results oriented key-performance indicators, and industry competitive best practices/standards
  • Lead the manufacturing mission, vision and strategy for the company. Set the culture, with health and safety, sustainability, collaborative working and accountability at the core
  • Lead the change management in manufacturing in order to support the development goals of the company
  • Demonstrate excellent commercial, financial and business awareness within the Aluminium manufacturing industry sector
  • Accountable for designing and providing world-class work management processes, and industry competitive best practices/standards
  • Lead the project management for capital investments, technology transfer and go to market for new products
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure the company has the manufacturing skills to grow
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to support individual career development goals
  • Share trusting relationships - lead, manage, mentor, motivate and develop plant colleagues
  • Personally lead and commit to plant safety procedures.
  • Proven work experience as Head of Manufacturing or equivalent role in the Aluminium flat rolled products industry
  • Proven success in managing and implementing change within the Aluminium flat rolled products industry sector
  • Excellent Communication and Presenting skills from shop floor to board level, and externally
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Strong industry standard manufacturing, production, equipment and technical expertise in Aluminium flat rolled production
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills with the ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • University degree educated (minimum MBA or MSc) in an engineering discipline, with Post Graduate qualifications in Business Management and/or Engineering related field and minimum CEFR English Level C2
