Assistant Account Handler - Commercial Insurance

£18-20k

Our clients require a self-motivated, committed individual to join their team.

Ideally the candidate with have some commercial insurance experience who wishes to expand their existing knowledge and wish to progress

Role
Working within the Commercial Department you will be responsible for supporting the Account Handlers. You will undertake full training on scheme and/or open market business with the aim of progressing to a Commercial Account Handler

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well within a team, along with individual
  • Good Telephone manner
  • Fantastic time management and organisational skills
  • High standards and attention to detail

Duties:

  • To learn all scheme binder business as directed by the Commercial Manager, if applicable
  • Provide full administration support to the Commercial Account handler.
  • Review files and administer new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments for clients using binders and open market Insurers, as and when required.
  • Maintain client relationships by providing excellent customers service. Ensuring work is carried out with accuracy, confidentiality and deadlines are meet.
  • Deal with accounts queries
  • Input cheques, credit card and or finance agreements onto the system.
