ServiceNow Developer/Administrator Urgently needed for global business based in Birmingham, You will work closely with customers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations, and supporting the Service transformation teams. ServiceNow Developer should assume other roles as needed i.e. Business Analyst, Interim Project Manager, Admin/Developer, and tester as required.


* Responsible for coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes in the application. The ServiceNow SME will be responsible for core system configuration.

* Implementation of ServiceNow

* Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow

* Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests

* Experience of implementing data loads, inbound and outbound API integrations, catalog items and workflows within ServiceNow

* Experience of implementing LDAP & SSO integrations, in a multi-tenanted Single-Sign-On environment.

* Experience of implementing & upgrading Mid-Servers.

* Understanding and experience of ITOM, Discovery and SAM ServiceNow components.

* Ability to write JavaScript code that is easy to read, follows standards with extensibility and also to write AngularJS widgets for the Service Portal

* Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions

* Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations

* Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools


* Educated to degree level with 4-5 years IT professional information technology experience with systems analysis and application development experience, including administration, implementation, integration, and configuration in ServiceNow

* 3-4 years of experience of ServiceNow with the ServiceNow platform in an Admin/Developer Capacity administering an enterprise-wide, multi-tier ServiceNow production environment, including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI configuration, catalog items, reports, and updates

* Experience developing custom applications in ServiceNow, leveraging scripted workflows, complex business rules, client-side/server-side scripting, custom UI pages, ACLs, custom widgets, and custom reporting, custom CMS/ Employee Self Service portals

* Expert knowledge and hands on experience of ServiceNow Application

* Well versed with documenting process and procedures implemented into ServiceNow

* Experience upgrading within ServiceNow application and components

* Experience architecting and designing ServiceNow Application
