JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: ELECTRONIC SERVICE / CALIBRATION ENGINEER

LOCATION: CANNOCK

JOB TITLE: ELECTRONIC SERVICE / CALIBRATION ENGINEER (NDT)

SALARY: COMPETITIVE depending on experience

HOURS: FULL TIME 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:15pm

THE COMPANY: Our client supplies the following services to the Non-Destructive Testing community:

The provision of repair, service and calibration of NDT equipment to recognised National and International standards. Also offering an independent calibration service to the Company's customer base (Calibration of UT Flaw Detectors, Thickness Gauges and Meters, Ultrasonic Probes and Ultrasonic Test Blocks to the International Standard ISO: 17025:2017 and ISO 9001).
The sales of NDT Equipment and accessories
The sales of Consumables i.e. MPI Chemicals, DPI Chemicals, Probes and Probe Leads.

THE ROLE: An opportunity has arisen within a busy Repair and Calibration company in Huntington, Cannock. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and determined individual, to join their established team, engaging and working alongside staff to ensure an efficient and co-operative working environment testing, repairing and servicing Non-Destructive Testing equipment.

Are you/Do you have:

A background in electronic testing (advantageous)
Full, clean driving license
Minimum C (or equivalent) GCSE grade C in English, Maths and (a) Science
Computer literate
Able to work in a team
Able use own initiative
Accurate in work and driven

Key Responsibilities of the job role to include: -

Servicing and repair of customers' equipment
Calibration within the company's UKAS accredited laboratory
Liaising with customers to maintain customer satisfaction
