A highly successful and well established Fintech company based in the West Midlands, is in search of an experienced Business Development Manager to manage their existing portfolio of high-net worth merchants and further expand their client base across the UK!

This fast growing Fintech organisation are a reputable leader in the financial services space and have led the way in financial innovation for several years. Now with a nationally recognised brand and a large workforce, they aim to enter their next stage of growth and further disrupt the financial services market!

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities for the company's SME merchants within the payments, card acquiring and prepaid solutions department. Your talent, drive and ambition will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company maintains its lion share of the market while you reap the financial rewards of growing your merchant portfolio!

Key Responsibilities:

* Business Development- successfully selling the company's payments and aquiring services to merchants through social selling, email campaigns. networking, fairs etc.

* Strategically building and nuturing key relationships with merchant

* Actively identifying new business opportunities and securing new business

* Responsible for expanding the company's territory across the West Midlands

* Researching and identifying direct prospects that will help the company grow a healthy and consistent pipeline across various verticals.

* Maintaining a solid, thriving pipeline with accurate and clear reporting in Salesforce.

* Exceeding monthly and quarterly KPIs on pipeline, new contract signatures and recognised revenue.

* Working with the sales team to create new ideas that will drive lead generation.

* Taking responsibility for the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders.

* Providing feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product and marketing information.

Essential Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in selling prepaid cards, bill payments, money transfer or card card acquiring solutions

* Extensive understanding of the financial services industry

* An outstanding track record in B2B Financial services sales

* Excellent Account Management skills with the ability to manage high revenue merchants

* Proven track record of building and managing relationships with key clients

* The ability to identify new business opportunities and additional revenue streams

* Target driven, with a proven track record for meeting sales quotas and generating high monthly revenue

* A successful track record of developing and executing innovative sales campaigns
