Technical Sales Coordinator - Permanent - Warwick - 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday - GBP22,000 - GBP27,000 D.O.E

Working for a leading manufacturing company based in Warwick you will work as part of an effective sales team to support the sales process and increase revenues.

This is a highly technical environment and you must have gained experience within a technical manufacturer or engineering business working as a sales coordinator/sales administrator/sales engineer to be eligible to apply. If you do not possess relevant experience within these areas your application will not be considered.

This role location isn't easily accessible via public transport therefore ideally you will also be a driver with your own vehicle.

Job Purpose Statement

Working as part of the sales team this office based role involves daily telephone contact with our customers supporting them pre-sale to ensure their particular needs are met, following up on quotes and proactively seeking other opportunities for sales with our customer base.

Job Accountabilities

*To contribute towards achieving an annual sales target by working effectively as part of a team, responding efficiently and courteously to customer telephone enquiries, establishing the requirements accurately, and preparing a quote utilising company price lists and approved discounts.
*To provide technical support to help customers to select the right product, to support their installer fit our equipment correctly.
*To pro-actively follow up quotes to secure confirmed orders, processing these promptly following defined systems and procedures and ensuring that all necessary customer information is promptly updated on the relevant databases.
*To maintain positive and helpful contact with the customer to be of maximum support to them and increase the potential for repeat orders.
*To generate new business by contacting allocated past and potentially new customers, informing them of the product range relevant to their needs, following up any possible requirements updating customer contact records promptly and accurately.
*To review sales orders to ensure the quotation matches the confirmed requirements and liaising effectively with internal colleagues where necessary to ensure the order and any special requirements can be met.

*To contribute to the success and development of the Company by supporting and being involved in other projects and sales tasks as required.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*A level intellect with proven work experience in a business requiring detailed knowledge of technical products, ideally engineering related.
*Previous experience within sales coordination/sales administration/sales engineer position is critical
*Telephone experience with customers
*Excellent ability to build quick and strong ongoing relationships with people.
*Inner drive and aptitude to develop sales
*Works well in a team all focused on monthly sales targets
*Ideally an engineering qualification but not essential.
*Ideally a proven record of developing sales.
