Business Development Manager - Interior Wall Products

THE ROLE As a business development manager, you will be carrying out a UK wide role. You will be focusing on the refurbishment market, selling a range of wall coverings, paints and associated accessories. Customers will include end-users such as local authorities and housing associations, retailers, education, and prisons to name a few. You will also be selling to a range of contractors within this space. It is a role comprising of account management (60%) and new business (40%), looking after a portfolio of GBP4million; you will be expected to grow that further.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience selling construction products is essential
  • Familiarity selling to the property refurbishment sector is advantageous
  • Driven and commercially aware
  • Approachable with strong relationship building skills
  • Happy to spend up to 8 nights away from home per month
