Area Sales Manager - Midlands coverage


We are recruiting for a market leading Materials Handling business based in the West Midlands. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for key accounts, whilst developing new business opportunities and maintaining excellent service levels.

The role will be mobile with travel within the East and West Midlands areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a career driven and focussed individual who wants to join an established market leading brand at a time of growth and development.

The Nitty Gritty!

* Identify and develop market opportunities to further enhance the regions portfolio of clients

* Be an advocate of the brand and develop product knowledge

* Regularly report on the performance of key accounts

* Demonstrate clear ability to develop and maximise the company products through excellent relationships and service

* Be a confident negotiator

* Conduct regular customer reviews and report to board level

* Routinely travel to customers sites

* Prepare annual business plans for each account including budgets, forecast and risk mitigation plans as may be required

What we need from you???

* Be team focused with an emphasis on the importance of building great relationships

* A good understanding of the Materials Handling industry, in particular fork lift trucks

* Be commercially minded, with an aptitude for business and an interest in developing your understanding

* A 'go-getter' with a desire to progress and enhance your career

* Be confident meeting clients and have a natural flair for building relationships
