Are you interested in schools-based work? Do you have experience working with children who have SEN? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Monarch Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a student who has Cerebral Palsy.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children who have additional needs, ideally the candidate will be comfortable with personal care. The role is very rewarding as you will see children learn and develop thanks to your help!

Job type: SEN Teaching Assistant Starting: September 2019 Working hours: 8:30 - 3:30 Location: Stoke-on-Trent Minimum Qualification: TA qualification / Relevant experience Salary: £60 - £80

Pupils who require this additional support may have needs such as: - PMLD / SLD / Cerebral Palsy - Specific Learning Requirements (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia) - SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) - Moderate Learning Requirements - Special Educational Needs

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:

- Building relationships with pupils - Looking after the child's physical, social and emotional welfare - Helping with challenging behaviour - Keeping record of progress made - Working closely with teachers and parents
