Academics is a successful and well known Recruitment Consultancy specialising in placing contract and permanent staff in to schools across London, the South-East, Cheshire, Isle of Wight, Birmingham, Guildford, Portsmouth, Stoke, Hull, Doncaster, Halifax, Cardiff, Southampton, Leeds and Berkhamsted.
Our busy office in St Paul's Square, Birmingham offers a vibrant and noisy atmosphere with 10 experienced sales consultants, supported by administration/Resourcing staff. We offer an excellent career path, and a team that is both friendly and supportive.
You will be responsible for supporting the day to day recruitment effort, ensuring that candidates have all of the necessary documentation, references, DBS', and other checks. Working closely with a team of consultants, and others within the administration function, you will make sure that any candidates that are selected for interview, and are subsequently placed within a school, are fully compliant. You will have frequent contact with Teachers both by telephone and in writing. It's a fast moving and fun environment, sometimes under tight time pressures to get a high quality job done.
You must be reliable, organised and flexible, preferably with a stable work history and within easy commuting distance of our St Paul's, Birmingham office. The role will suit someone who is well organised, possesses excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be covering a broad range of support duties, in an exciting and fast paced environment. You will probably have some experience in an Administration or Office Support role, possibly in recruitment, although a stable track record and willingness to learn is more important than specific sector experience.
The role will be based in St Paul's Square, Birmingham. This is a full time, permanent position and the salary will be between GBP16,000 and GBP19,000 per annum.
