As the Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for handling incoming enquires that come in from new and existing customers.

The Key duties of the Customer Service Advisor will be to:

Develop customer relationships to encourage further business

Sales order processing onto the internal IT system.

Liaising with Operations and internal departments

Purchase order negotiation and administration

Sales and purchase order chasing

Dealing with suppliers

Administrate and maintain customer and supplier price lists

General administrative duties

The successful Customer Services candidate will have:

Previous experience in a telephone based customer service department, whilst the position is phone based it isn't a call centre, they are looking at delivering a high customer service experience.

A sound geographical knowledge of the UK to ensure that goods are being dispatched on the correct transport routes.

Excellent IT skills and Intermediate knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets is essential.

A confident and friendly telephone manner and the ability to work to tight deadlines to ensure the needs of the customers' orders are meet at all times.

Have the ability to build strong repour to develop relationships with key accounts to gain future business.

A flexible shift pattern is in place working Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 5.00pm and an early finish on a Friday. 8.00am - 3.00pm or 9.00 - 5.00pm.
