A new opportunity has become available for an Accounts Clerk to work for a rapidly expanding spare parts company in Brownhills. The family run business offer the opportunity to gain experience in a busy accounts department reconciling accounts. THE JOB ROLEbrief of duties

  • Reconciliations of control accounts
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journal entries and journal updates
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • General support to the accounts team
  • Temporary to permanent contract, Monday - Friday 9am,-5pm (37.5 hours), Up to GBP9.50p/h

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENT

  • Be able to demonstrate previous reconciliation experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Use of Sage (desired but not essential)
  • Must be immediately available to start
  • Must be computer literate and have excellent keyboard and data entry skills and ability to adapt to new procedures and more effective ways of working
