GBP14.17 per hour

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Our Telford based client is looking for a HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. The purpose of the role will be to contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective Human Resources service to the business. Adopting a partnership approach to support and assist managers in implementing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* Ensure HR Services are delivered efficiently to meet particular time constraints

* Provide appropriate guidance, advice and support relating to HR Policy and practice to all employees and managers

* Monitor the attendance management and advise line managers as appropriate in relation to intervention and support strategies. Make Occupational Health referrals as appropriate

* Support the employee development and training programme across the business to include delivering HR related workshops and training sessions, arranging events and associated administration

* Provide managers with advice and support to enable them to effectively manage and resolve employee relations concerns in relation to employment legislation and best practice. This will include but is not limited to; attendance management, probations, performance management, capability, disciplinary , grievance, maternity/paternity, redeployment and health and wellbeing issues

* Support the review, creation and development of HR policies and procedures in line with the relevant legislation and best practice.

* Proactively support, develop and maintain the system

* Respond in a professional and timely way to all requests for information or data from internal and external clients

* Compile and produce timely management/statistical data and information in relation to all matters HR

* Ensure that employee records are maintained by updating the HR database with full staff details , ensuring due regard is given to issues of confidentiality and GDPR

* Participate and represent the HR department as appropriate

* Plan and undertake special project work as required

* Work flexibly to cover other members of the team when absent

* Monitor and record allocated budgets

* Sustain high standards, professionalism and confidentiality at all times

* Undertake any other additional duties that may be reasonably required in support of the smooth running of the HR department

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience working at HR Advisor level and be CIPD qualified. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will have the ability to work flexibly and support team deadlines. The ideal candidate will have good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
