Job Purpose:

The Senior Account Manager role will provide support to a team within London Investment Management. The role has direct responsibility for all non-investment related elements of the client relationship in order to deliver excellent client service to their clients.

In addition to carrying out tasks of an Account Manager, he/shewillfocusonbuildingclientrelationshipsaswellasstrongrelationshipsacrossthebusiness.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the duties of an Account Manager;

  • Work closely with the other business areas such as Operations and Compliance to ensure a seamless client experience

  • Action payment requests to clients

  • Deal with day today client queries by phone and email,delivering excellent client service

  • Manage client on-boarding process from first contact to sign-up

  • Action account opening and closing activities, ISA subscriptions and transfers in/out/internal

  • Responsibility for client static data on all systems

  • Overseeing suitability due dates

  • Attend new client meetings with the Investment Manager asappropriate

  • Action third party requests forinformation

  • Engage confidently and accurately and inline with current industry regulations with both internal and external clients

  • Ensure client reporting and fee processes deadlines are met

Skills, Experience, and Behaviours:

Ideally someone with a background in wealth management,and confident to speak to and be in front of clients.

  • Working towards already or an interest in theInvestment Operations Certificate(IOC) or Investment Management Certificate(IMC) depending upon where future interests lie
  • Typically 5 years' relevant experience including client service experience with a private client wealth manager
  • A strong ethic of client/customer service
  • Ability to work at pace and underpressure,consistently delivering excellence and highstandards of service

  • Strong inter-personal skills , able to adapt style effectively

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Effective communicator in person and inwriting

  • Highly organised and able to multi-taskefficiently

  • Working and collaborating across boundaries,effectively and inclusively to achieve positive outcomes
