The Company:

They are recognised main contractor based out the Greater Midlands, this division currently turnover £25million. There work is covering new build / extensions and fit out / refurbishment's projects, within the Food Retail / Commercial sectors with project values from £25k - £1.5million, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading contractor.

Projects:

This division is working on new build / extensions and fit out / refurbishment's projects, within the Food Retail / Commercial sectors with project values from £25k - £1.5million, across the UK.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to be based in their West Midlands office whilst overseeing up to three projects at one time, depending on size and complexity. You will be based out of the office 1-2 days a week and traveling to sites to check on progress and support the existing site team where required.

Contracts Manager Role & Requirements:

As a Contracts Manager, you would ideally have a minimum of 10 years in the construction industry and must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of managing contracts as either a Project or Contracts Manager with values from £25k to £1.5m.

Overseeing contracts from preconstruction, able to plan and program projects, liaise with the client and oversee up to 2 to 3 projects at any one time, with Site Managers reporting back to you on a daily / weekly basis. You must have an up to date CSCS Card.

Duties:

Managing up to 3 projects at any given time, dependent on size of the project
Client Liaison
Planning and programming contracts
Quality Control
Sub-contractor orders
Managing Site issues effectively
Health and Safety plans
Motivating and inspiring the team
