This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career within the construction industry. We say career as this role does require someone with a "can do, proactive" mind set, who wants to be part of a small team working on the administration and co-ordination side of large scale construction projects (please note that this is not a residential builder). This role could lead into a trainee Project Managers role in time, as my Client loves to internally promote and can clearly spot talented individuals. This is why this role would suit someone wants a career within this industry.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

·Data collection and reporting for different site projects

·Ordering plant equipment

·Quoting on specific smaller projects and orders

·Assisting on tender submissions

·Document controller ensuring all correspondence and documentation is up to date for each project

·Procurement of materials and supplies direct to projects

·Liaison with relevant contacts on their day to day requirements

·Booking costs to projects and monitoring expenditure on each project

·Dealing with suppliers and negotiating best price on low value products

·Dealing with purchase orders for materials and labour

·Booking hotels for staff

·Occasional site visits to active sites

·And much more depending on experience of candidate

Candidates must have strong administration skills due to the pressures of the projects that you are working on alongside being very process driven. Excellent communication skills are required due to liaison between internal departments and external providers

Due to the nature of this Industry, we are looking for a strong personality who can remain calm when the pressure is on as the team do work in a fast pace and pressurised environment, however, someone with the right attitude will be able to remain positive and enthusiastic, a calm and unflappable character is what is needed. .

Salary is dependent upon experience £22,000 - £30,000
