Horticulture Apprenticeship (Level 2)

18 month Temporary Contract

37.5 hours per week including 7.5 hours at college

Salary: £15,015 per annum (under 25 years of age) up to £16,009.50 per annum (25 years and over)

The Role:

This role requires you to be able to assist with the provision of a dedicated commercial  grounds maintenance service in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Telford and Wrekin.  You will be required to complete all relevant training and qualifications in accordance with the role.

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards customers and other colleagues ensuring that effective communication is maintained in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.

What you will need:

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a Full (UK) Driving License or be willing to obtain a full license within the timeframe of the apprenticeship.

Ideally you will possess a minimum of three GCSEs at Grade 4 and above (Grade A-C) in English, Maths and Science or equivalent or the ability to obtain a (Level 2) Functional Skills in English, Maths and Science, however this is not essential.

You will play a leading role in supporting your Team, Managers and Colleagues therefore you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to demonstrate effective team working skills together with a flexible approach to work, with a can do attitude.
