To support their strategy of providing solutions to some of the UK's top livestock producers Animax now require a Territory Manager based at home to drive sales through their strong distribution network in Scotland. Recognised internationally and having a long heritage in the agribusiness sector, Animax is now part of the highly successful blue chip Carrs Group of companies who continue to provide innovative products to all of their chosen business sectors as well as gaining a significant reputation for adding value to their customers businesses.
This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is a key appointment for the success of the business. The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is on maximising the sales and margin of the supplements product range, as well as managing the routes to market including major distributor sales and merchant outlets. Providing training, technical and sales support to the distributor teams and farmers will also be a key part of the role as will delivering service support to the diverse customer base. The role also offers the opportunity to be responsible for raising the awareness of Animax across the territory.
To be successful, ideally you will need to have the relevant sales experience and technical background of livestock animal health and dairy knowledge as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop sales and margins across the customer base. Candidates holding AMTRA & NOAH certification would be very welcome however training and personal development is a high priority to Animax so training would be provided to the right candidate.
