We are proud to be a leading independent UK consultancy at the forefront of risk, pensions, investment and insurance and have recently reached just over 1000 employees spread over 8 offices.

Our secretarial team (numbering approximately 50) play a vital role in supporting the business with both day-to-day requirements and more specialist tasks. We have secretarial support in all our offices but work as one team to provide a seamless and professional service.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Secretary and Receptionist for our Bromsgrove office. The role will cover diary and room bookings, travel arrangements, processing invoices, preparing reports and board packs and will also include meeting and greeting visitors to the office. This is a busy and varied role where no two days will be the same. You will be based in the back office with occasional time spent on reception.

Please note: in the summer of 2020 our offices will be moving to Longbridge - ideal for road, rail and bus networks.

About you
  • You will need GCSE English and Maths at Grade C / 4 as a minimum
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate strong experience of working in a secretarial position including being based on reception
  • Being a team-player is vital in this position - you'll be working in a small team where sometimes you just need to roll-up your sleeves and work together to get the job done
  • We'd like to see evidence on your CV of your attention to detail - are you good at picking-up on spelling mistakes, spotting an incorrect date etc
  • Sound technical knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Excel , PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent keyboard/typing skills - you'll be preparing presentations, reports, emails and other communications
  • Professional presentation as you will be meeting and greeting visitors to the Firm
  • Finally, excellent communication skills are also essential as you will be speaking to people face-to-face, on the telephone and via email
