A modern and growing organisation in the education sector. Based in prestigious offices in Central Birmingham, they are now seeking a HR Advisor to join the HR team. The role will suit someone currently working as a HR Advisor or a HR Officer with strong generalist, recruitment and 1st line advisory experience.
Your new role
The HR Advisor will support the Head of HR in the delivery of a comprehensive HR service across two sites. Key responsibilities will include providing expert first line advice on HR queries and guidance on ER, absence and performance management issues. Additionally the HR Advisor will manage the recruitment process for all roles, support the development of policies & procedures, produce HR management reports and oversee the HR apprentice. Regular travel to the other site will also be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer who is CIPD Level 5 qualified/studying as a minimum. Strong experience of recruitment and employee relations is required. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills and is a flexible approach is vital to success.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of circa GBP25,000 plus 30 days holiday and bank holidays.
