Project Lead Job Coventry to start ASAP

Your new company

You will be working for a company that provides IT training in-home and in groups, to all ages and demographics across the UK. They work closely with the government, housing associations and charities to provide digital support to end users.

Your new role

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects to ensure contract requirements are met. You will help to maintain client relationships to ensure referrals are generated and contract targets and spend are met. You will report and analyse contract data to ensure suitable service delivery and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The hours for the position are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.

Day to day duties:

  • Oversee and co-ordinate budget expenditure to ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Investigating any arising contract queries where requested
  • Manage and report costs of training to the finance team to ensure accurate spent is recorded against each contract on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Provide input on and implementation of detailed project plans and dated task plans for all stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to cost, quality, outcome and time targets
  • Maintain risk and issue records, lessons learned logs and any other relevant project documentation
  • Draft and communicate monthly/ quarterly reports to the client where required and present project status updates at key meetings, remote or in-person
  • Approve all sub-contractor invoices before payment and pass to finance
  • Ensure all IT systems are accurately maintained including monitoring spreadsheets, referral logs and email accounts
  • Support the commercial team in preparation of new contract tenders or re-tenders
  • Monitor and review project resources e.g. modules and publicity materials
  • Design and implement controlled and monitored marketing campaigns: access success and ensure appropriate coverage
  • Line manage Digital Inclusion team members and ensure provision of appropriate supervision, training and support where required
  • Identify new digital inclusion project opportunities and ensure continuous project improvements and review
  • Produce end of contract evaluations aimed at encouraging renewal of contract or repeat business and liaise with Trainer and Quality Assurance Lead to ensure their input to the reports

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for the position you will ideally have experience of working with or in the housing sector, have a strong enthusiasm for improving people's lives through digital inclusion, experience of project management, excellent oral and written communication skills as well as supreme attention to detail, demonstrate experience of using own initiative to innovative and deliver projects, ability to work in a high pressure environment with multiple competing deadlines, efficient in using Microsoft Office software packages and bespoke systems, experience of stakeholder management, a clear understanding and working knowledge of confidentiality requirements (including GDPR) and positive experience of supervising a team within a formal line management structure.

What you'll get in return

You will receive an annual salary of £28,250 to £34,000 depending on experience. You will receive auto enrolment pension, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays which is increased up to 28 days holiday plus bank holidays based on your level of service. You will be based in a modern office which is walking distance in to the town.
