Hours: On average 36.5 hours per week. Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time.
Salary Range: £32,109 - £37,197

Who are we?
Warwick Students' Union is a vibrant charity. We are a professionally run, independent organisation, with Warwick students at our centre. Our talented teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives and fulfil potential; we empower them to make all this happen.

The Advice Centre is the only place on campus where students can receive free, independent advice on a wide range of issues including academic, housing and student funding. It is a busy, dynamic centre comprising four permanent staff (including the Manager) and a number of student staff. It is absolutely committed to providing the highest standards of inclusive service to its members.

What is the job?
The Advice Centre Manager role is a key post, committed to delivering excellent services to a diverse student community. You will provide strategic leadership to a team of x 3 Welfare Advisors, developing effective partnerships with key stakeholders, continuously looking for opportunities to provide the best possible services for our students as well as undertaking casework.

Who are you?
You should be someone who has experience of leading people and managing service delivery in an advice environment.

You need knowledge of the HE sector and challenges facing students and young adults as well as having a successful track record in case work resolution. You must be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, be IT literate and be highly self- motivated with an ability to stay calm under pressure whilst ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
