Director of Enterprise Operations

A students union based in Coventry is incredibly entrepreneurial. We have implemented new business ventures from organising Coventry Half Marathon and setting up a graphic design and video agency to designing online training and developing commercial software. We now need an experienced commercial manager to take those ideas to the next level. The role of Director of Enterprise Operations presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our innovative and growing organisation.

The successful post-holder will implement a robust business framework that supports and sustains the growth of our business. You will provide strategic advice to our Senior Management Team and our Trustees; focusing on commercial, contractual and financial strategies. You will lead and inspire our Services Teams to achieve realistic business commercial targets, and educate the wider business across the Group at other campuses as to the best practice in commercial and business opportunities.

It is essential that you have experience in a senior commercial role together with generating large volumes of sales across multiple product and service ranges. You will hold strong entrepreneurial skills with the natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation. It is also important that you can demonstrate your experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams, reaching successful goals with excellent communication and influencing skills and be an effective collaborator who is flexible, adaptable and able to respond and thrive within a constantly changing organisation.

This post is permanent working full-time 37.5 hours per week, however, part time hours will be considered. A flexible approach to working hours is required.

Candidates with a disability will be guaranteed an interview, providing they meet all the essential requirements of the post.
