Position: Head Receptionist / Office Concierge

Location: Birmingham (Cheadle)

Contract: Long-Term Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Pay: GBP21,000

Start Date: 02/09/2019

The Role:

To manage the day to day running of reception, including review of procedures
To manage to day to day running of the Customer Experience Area
To receive visitors to site and provide the appropriate passes
To escort visitors and co-ordinate refreshments
To order taxis and assist visitors with their requirements including advising on local amenities
Assist with the organisation of events on site
To induct new starters and contractors to site
To produce, carry out and manage ID passes for staff, taking photos, producing cards
To manage the entry to exit to the car park
To issue and manage keys via the procedure on site
To book rooms, producing the room sheets each day and ensuring they are displayed as appropriate
To ensure meeting rooms are set up and ready for use as required and assist users as required
To order stocks as required - keys, first aid supplies, supplies for customer experience area
To produce reports for the Facilities Manager
To carry out fire warden duties in the case of a fire evacuation, working with facilities and fire marshals as appropriate
To partake in regular team meetings to update on progress and discuss relevant issues
To be aware of and comply with the company and statutory requirements regarding health, safety, fire and hygiene
Identify opportunities for account growth including service and cost improvement
Encourage self to continually look for areas of service improvement, maintaining a "can do" attitude

Key Capabilities/Knowledge:

Excellent computer skills
High level customer service skills
To be able to work well under pressure and deal with issues on site
Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organisation
Plan, organise and prioritise workload of own and others
Deliver a "can do" attitude
Experience in a Corporate receptionist environment
