CNC Programmer needed in Tamworth

3-month Temp to Perm

£14 - £16 p/hr

This well-established company specialises in work-holding solutions and are looking for an equally experienced manual machinist to join their ranks. Over the last 3 years, they have added a new department to their already large range, added a new depot, and increased their turnover by half a million.

Your day to day responsibilities will be vary daily as the machinery will be bespoke to the client's demands, you will be involved in the whole process from the mechanical drawings all the way through to quality inspection.

As the business is always on the forefront of modern technology, they aim to keep the volume low and the variety high. This ensures a diversity throughout the working day, which is one of the many reasons they keep their staff from apprenticeship level all the way through to retirement; the Managing Director even apprenticed at the company and worked through the ranks.

You must have experience with:

Programming and operating CNC machines, ideally Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mazatrol.
Working to tight tolerances with a high attention to detail.
Adapting to a change within the day to day tasks
How to effectively use engineering drawings to complete a project.
An apprenticeship in CNC machining or over 5 years' experience in the trade.
