We are currently seeking a Catering / Housekeeping Assistant to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at The Huntercombe Hospital - Cotswold Spa, Broadway, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 6 miles from Evesham and ony 15 miles from Cheltenham and Worcester.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering / Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. In your role as Housekeeper you will be responsible for providing an excellent housekeeping service ensuring a clean safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff. When working as a catering assistant you will be working within the kitchen and dining area where you will help to provide nutritious and enticing meals for the residents in our care. You will be an important part of the team that ensures patients in our care feel valued as an individual.
So as a Catering / Housekeeping Assistant what do you need to do to make this happen?
* Assist in the preparation of excellent quality meals within the home, with the aim of achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for residents in our care.
* Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and other visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the team.
* Prepare dining areas to create a safe and enjoyable environment for residents at mealtimes.
* Maintain a clean hazard free kitchen and dining area in order to minimize risks to residents and employees of the home.
* Work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with the Company and regulatory expectations and requirements
* Creating a pleasant and well maintained environment which will include the immediate external environment
* Cleaning duties will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, scrubbing, sanitising, shampooing, reproofing of flame retardant materials, vacuum cleaning, dusting, polishing, damp wiping of all areas within the centre and removal of rubbish and discarded items.
* Laundry duties will include separating, washing and ironing of client's clothes, bed and table linen, curtains and soft furnishings and reproofing where required.
* Reporting of any hazards defects or damage to property or equipment to the Nurse in Charge/Care Manager/Business Manager without delay.

* Have Knowledge of the safe carriage and use of COSHH substances
* Have a legal right to work in the UK
Working Pattern: 16 Hours per week
