An excellent opportunity to work for a well-established and successful company in a rural location as a full time Power Press Setter Operator.


We are a leading UK trade manufacturer of corporate and promotional merchandise. We have a team of 63 at their factory in Herefordshire, of whom 42 are involved in production. 95% of company sales are from products that we print and manufacture ourselves, with an on-going programme of high quality product development.


·Setting small power presses, up to 12 tonnes capacity, including one coil feed press.

·Setting hand presses, guillotines, folders, and small CNC routers.

·Approximately 25% setting, 75% operating.

·Ensuring that production is completed to the specified timescales and ISO 9001 quality standards.

·Ensuring safe working practice.

The ideal candidate will have some previous supervisory experience, and must have at least 1 year of power press setting experience.

·Must have at least 1 year's power press setting experience.

·Must have a power press setter's safety certificate.

·Must be computer literate.

·Have good attention to detail, and work to a high quality standard.

·Good motivational skills and a positive can do attitude.

·Have good presswork problem solving skills.

·Able to work in a fast paced environment.

·Mechanical engineering background desirable.

·Experience in using a FLT is desirable, but training would be given.

Position: Setter Operator

Location: Stoke Lacy near Bromyard, Herefordshire.

Salary: Negotiable, depending upon experience. Please indicate your salary expectations with your application.

Working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. Annual holiday is 28 days including bank holidays (bank holidays account for 8 days). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 4-5days
